About Ashanee Thompson MD

Dr. Thompson's medical practice is a part of Collins Medical Associates 2, P.C. and has an affiliation with Trinity Health of New England. The office provides high quality patient centered Primary Care to individuals age seventeen and older. It was established several years ago and continues to serve Enfield and the surrounding communities. We strive for a comfortable and welcoming environment, offering superior care to all of our patients. 

Dr. Ashanee Thompson is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. She completed her training at the University of Connecticut where she received high honors in Primary Care/Office Based Medicine. Dr. Thompson covers all aspects of primary care in her practice from prevention to acute and chronic disease management.

    We accept most insurances. Please contact the office for more details.
  • Do you have the COVID 19 vaccine in the office?
    We don’t not have the COVID 19 vaccine in the office at this time.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    We ask that you notify the office 24 hrs before your visit, if you need to cancel. At this time no is no fee to cancel your appointment, but this is subject to change.
  • Are you open during snow storms?
    If the state is closed, the office will be closed.
  • How do I get my refills?
    Please contact your local pharmacy first to request a refill. The pharmacy will then contact our office to handle the refill. Allow 48 hours for your medication to be refilled. If prior authorization is required then we are reliant on the timetable of your insurance company.
  • What is telemedicine or telehealth?
    This is electronically seeing patients. Our office is currently caring some patients in this manner
